Mayweather barely beats Oscar with a split decision(that means someone had Oscar winning incase you didn't know), and it took him 10 rds to finally sloppily KO a smaller Hatton who even won some rounds on him. Your point is so invalid.
You're right but while you came to that conclusion, you forgot that both guys have different styles. Mayweather might be the bigger guy but he's a boxer. Hatton isn't a boxer. Even though I'd favour Pacman winning and I'd want him to win, you shouldn't overlook Mayweather's size, skill and defensive ability. Now you might say DLH was bigger than Pacman and Pacman still beat him but DLH is nowhere near the guy that Mayweather is. Mayweather has the definite size and reach advantage over Pacman which could be a determining factor. Pacman though is on a roll and Mayweather has been inactive for quite some time so one would hope that Marquez makes Mayweather work so when and if it comes time to fight Pacman, Mayweather won't feel ring rust. Just remember that Pacman hasn't fought a guy like Mayweather...

PBF beat a better version of DLH, yes, but better version of Hatton? I don't think so. Floyd fought Hatton at 147, not the comfortable weight of Hatton. Pac fought Ricky in his comfort zone, and he knocked the Brit out tremendously.

For argument's sake, Dela Hoya should not be the basis for measure because he was already shot when he fought both fighters.

Pacman has been on the top spot of my p4p list since shortly after floyd retired.

i think its more than safe to say (with the extensive layoff and such) that mayweathers best days are behind him...he's been inactive since his fight with hatton. i do believe he'll come back for a few more fights in his attempt to boost his legacy in the sport.

picking a winner between pacman and floyd jr is hard...they are pretty evenly matched as far as im concerned...not to much of a size advantage or disadvantage for either fighter...both have above average speed...defense leans toward mayweather...manny is a southpaw...freddy roach has experience in training a fighter to face off against mayweather so freddy can really put together a good game plan.

I think it would be pretty even and go to a decision. not sure which way i'd go...

who's the real king? you gotta be ****ing kidding me

            without a doubt, its Pacquiao...

            no pouty retirements

no fake villain act to sell ppvs

no calling out fighters from lower divisions

            no turnbuckles needed

floyd might show the 'beauty' side of the sweet science, but manny shows the 'beast' side of it...potshotting vs brutal onslaughts...

i take the guy that worries about putting on a good show over the dude that makes Tiger walk out in the 9th round of his fight

you said that hatton was going to demolish pacquiao... now that you look like an idiot for saying that, you switch to saying that hatton is a sloppy leftover?

as i said in another topic, get outta here boy

P.S. - pac fought hatton at his best weight; floyd didn't
