Hatton is a dirty boxer(excessive holding)...

Hatton is a dirty boxer(excessive holding) then followed by some punches then again hold...u need also some review most of Hatton's previous fights...if ever his opponents hold because they're forced to hold by Hatton as simple as that...

People already knew the Marquez fight and weigh the idea of Pacquiao will ko Hatton...and Marquez is much skilled than Hatton, and i can't wait also to knock Hatton out if ever the two collides...you have to be realistic, Hatton is strong no question about it but he's a rough, dirty brawler who always relied on holding & wrestling that made his opponent tired...anyway holding (as what Hatton is doing) is a foul in boxing, so it depends to the ref if how strict he implements the rules of boxing...

exactly. hatton is using something his opponent isn't using which is
outside the rules of boxing. it would be like if manny were allowed
      to kick.

I thought this was going to be an easy night for Hatton.
But as it gets nearer i just cant pick a winner!!
I am just looking forward to what we all know we will be one hell of a tear up.

I think the winner will be visable after the first 3 minutes.

          Pacquiao vs. Hatton Fight

Whoever wins after this fight, we can look forward to a much bigger and more exciting match between Freddie Roach and Floyd Mayweather Sr. How about that?

Wow this fight is more one sided than the Manny/Oscar fight.

People have just bought in to the whole Pacquiao hype it seems. They are looking at Manny with rose tinted glasses now. After his last two wins, he can do nothing wrong because they were one sided beat downs at higher weight classes. That sounds very impressive on its own. But when you look at the actual details and realities of the fights, there is not too much to be impressed about other than he jumped up in weight.

Everyone has been fooled. Ricky is not as talented as Manny naturally, but the fact he is the best in this division, who has faced tougher opponents than Manny his whole career and who has a style Manny has never dealt with before, is more than enough to seal the victory.

When has Manny ever faced someone as strong and as powerful as Ricky? When has he ever had to deal with a JWW's hit to the body or head? Never. Ricky has been doing this his whole career, against bigger and stronger guys than Manny - he's used to it by now.

Why is Manny this super-hulk, who has power and skill unlike any other? Because of his last two wins? Again, they proved NOTHING. What happened in his last real test, and at a lower weight? He lost by most people's accounts.

I expect this to be a very emphatic win by Ricky, and Manny can stop deluding himself and his fans and move back down to lightweight and below where he belongs.

I just love underdogs. The closer the fight gets the more I want to see an upset, because frankly, watching an upset is a lot more exciting than watching a fight that's been expected.

However, I think Manny just has more tools in his box. Hatton doesn't have as many, if the first few don't work he's going to be screwed. I don't buy the Mayweather Sr. hype. When Hatton is in trouble he'll go back to his old habits. It happens to nearly all fighters who just get worn down physically and mentally to the point where they forget all the training and strategy they practiced in the gym and just fight on instinct.

I have Manny down as victor by 10th round TKO. As much as I like upsets, I bet with my mind and not my heart
              .

Hatton is a dirty fighter (excessive holding)

I fully agree with the observation and comment of znarfv_y2k8 that Hatton is holding a lot during a fight. I could see Hatton not only holds. He even hugs most of the time. I don't say, though, he is a dirty fighter.

been see-sawing on my prediction for a while now, i think its a 50/50 fight, just depends if manny is fast and powerful and smart enough to keep ricky off of him, and if hes tough enough to hang in there when ricky does close the distance and get on top of him . if he cant keep ricky off most of the time hes in trouble

                      your implying the ff:
                      1. the PACMAN is just hype? lolz, ricky's nuts must be delicious? lolz

                      2. the PACMAN "JUST" jumped in weight and that is nothing special, ok, ricky jumped "1" weight class fought collazo and was beaten but got a gift. the PACMAN jumped from fly to welter you idiot

                      3. ricky has faced "TOUGHER" opposition than the PACMAN? ok, your now deluding yourself mate, if what you say is true ricky should be P4P #1 right now not manny , ricky fought a 34 year old and retired for 2 years kostya, suddenly he beat tougher opposition? manny has 4 hall of famers in his resume, jumped from fly to welter, 3 lineal champ, 5 division champ and pound 4 pound #1 boxer. he fought naturally bigger men than he is all through out his career.

i think you should think first before spouting your nonsense, its baseless and disrespectful to the fighter. let me tell you facts bro, your boy ricky got this fight just because of 1 thing, he has a following and sells tickets, get it? thats why he is not favored to win.
