Calzaghe, Haye, Froch, Warren on Pacquiao-Hatton

BBC Sport made contact with some of the biggest and most well known names in British boxing. The news outlet got their predictions on the upcoming fight between countryman Ricky Hatton and the pound-for-pound king, Manny Pacquiao. The fight takes place on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. As expected, the majority of the fighters polled went for Hatton, who in the eyes of many is a big underdog. [details]

What do you expect from a guy that can't throw a punch?

i wouldn't expect calzaghe to know anything about actual boxing strategy. his whole strategy was that judges like punches so im gonna throw a lot in the general vicinity of my opponent. i might hit him but i might not . big might by the way.

              Hatton is a live dog.....

Yes, Froch Calzaghe and Haye are all UK biased for a Hatton victory, that's no surprise. I know everyone is on the Pacquiao war wagon but I am pulling for Hatton here and I firmly believe Pacquiao gets KOed in 6 via vicious body assault along the ropes. Anyone care to wager this? I don't have all the points in the world but I am ready to put some on the line and sig it with whoever is wanting to gamble a bit.

No point of getting their point of views since all four are biased. Calzaghe, Haye, Froch of course won't go against their countryman even though I'm sure all three of them favor pacquiao to win. And froch basically summed it up saying if the ref lets Hatton to cheat by clinching and hitting he probably can pull the upset off. While Warrens point of view sounded something from a disgruntled ex-promoter who was pissed that Hatton left him.

Why not pick some filipino boxers too to coment on this fight? Funny but there's no sense of their comments, they're all brits! Intrview somebody who have a neutral nationalities and their comments make sense!
