With all due respect.... Pacquiao is NOT Superman.

No disrespect intended…but Pacquiao is NOT Superman.

I see Hatton being given almost no credit. And Pacquiao’s fans and countrymen (and Roach) are predicting a blowout. Let’s look at this objectively, shall we?

Delahoya - EIGHT ROUNDS of a one-sided beating on a guy who had nothing to offer. Still, Oscar never went down,

Diaz – NINE ROUNDS against a mid-level lightweight. Pac was able to hit him nearly at will.

Marquez – TWELVE ROUNDS against a top-flight, prime lightweight. (Then SFW). Many feel that JMM won this fight.

Barrera – TWELVE ROUNDS against a faded former legend. Barrera had a lot of miles on the odometer (34 years, 70-ish fights).

Solis – EIGHT ROUNDS against a smaller FW. Solis is nowhere near a top guy. Quick – and don’t check boxrec – who did Solis ever beat?

Morales – Blew Erik out in THREE ROUNDS. Morales knew he was done at that point in his career. He just wanted to test himself, and get a payday (shook off the corner, and winked). Still, Manny did what he had to do.

    Larios
    – TWELVE ROUNDS with a smaller Larios. You may remember that larios was viciously KO’d in one round by Izzy. A frikkin’ bantamweight. Don’t remember that? here ya go:

I like Manny very much. How can you notlike Pac? I’m just respectfully asking you guys not to expect some highlight-reel early KO. Manny has not been that type of fighter. And it’s unreasonable to think it will happen against the strongest (and fastest?) guy he has faced.

to be fair, most of those fighters are better than hatton.

that said, hatton aint going down within 3 unless he charges in recklessly and caught with a KO punch.

Ofcourse pac is no superman so is hatton. What is with this pacquiao hate? The kid is so humble but inside the ring he destorys the opponent and gives the fans their moneys worth. He is one of the fighters that is keeping the sport of boxing alive.
