Because the "White" fighters fought from round 1 unlike the aging Hopkins who later in his career started to pace himself a lot more and didn't start to figth until around the mid-points which allowed Taylor to pile up points and have more fuel in the tank from the mid-rounds to the end so it was like Taylor was only fighting half the fight when fighting Hopkins.


Hopkins at his best takes apart Taylor. Tito, and then go back in Hopkins career....to watch the real Hopkins.

Even Zab tries to hurt and finish his opponent. Taylor doesn't. I felt Jermain could've stopped Carl at any point he wished, but just couldn't pull the trigger for whatever reason.


I'm playing about the White dude part. Jermain can't deal with fighters that are hungrier than him, they just both happen to be white dudes
