Taylor got worn down, and Froch beat the **** outta him 'till he fell. Jermain got up, showing heart, and took some more beating, and the ref stopped it.
Imagine Taylor vs Pavlik I all over again, except this time with 14 seconds to go in the 12th and final round.
Can't say I was impressed by either of them but Froch did show the kind of determination that makes a champion. I hope to see Froch fight Kessler this year in a title unification.
Taylor was winning the fight, dominating it till the 6th round, from there on the rounds got a bit closer but he was still up, in the last round he was dead tired and got caught, if he would have made it to the end even with him being down he would have won, there were 15 seconds left... and ref stepped him,
It is high time you guys started respecting fighters from all over the world.I'm happy though because many people in England dont like Carl Froch. Now that he has done what he has always said he would do,lets see what they are going to say.
Calzaghe avoided this guy. There is no way Joe would ever hurt Carl but Carl can stop Calzaghe
of course the nut hugging ref was happy to see taylor die, as long as he gets to the final bell and wins.
*******
taylor was about to get braindamaged when the ref stopped it.
when taylor slumped forward he was done, and a froch uppercut would of sent him out on a stretcher.
great fight tho, both guys showed alot of grit AND power.
Taylor seriously needs to retire....dude is wack....I mean Froch was off balanced so much he should have been catching him with ease. Hopefully he never gets a another title shot again.
