Gamboa is future top 3 p4p!!!1

i can almost guarentee it. Yuriorkis gamboa will be top 3 p4p in the next 3-5 years. Mark my words. He will beat chris john by 2010, juanma will probably fight him in the next 2 years, and he will be light ww champ in the next 3-4 years. I just know it.... what yall think?

He is very talented. I do see him getting knocked out in a firefight though.

He's been down against not huge punchers so he may stay down if he gets hit by one.

But he's very quick and skillfull.

If he beats Celestino Caballero impressively it's possible he'll be ranked top 10 by the end of the year or early next year.

If he fights chris john soon then yes. It would be a possibility.

i think he goes down most of the time due to being off balance, not hurt. He has a decent chin, he just gets caught off balance..... although ive seen him down, ive never seen him hurt or in trouble

Well my reasoning is he's fighting Celestino Caballero next, who is currently ranked in the top 10. If he KO's him for example, he may not be ranked top 10 just yet but if he immediately fights another skilled fighter and wins, I do believe he would be in the lower part of the top 10

Gamboa is getting up there in terms of age. For a fighter that depends on reflexes that isn't good.

I love Gamboa as a fighter, he's very exciting and seems to be getting less wild but still explosive. I hope he comes up to the bigger weights eventually(Lightweight, Junior Welterweight)

well he's 27. So he should have at least 2-3 more years at minimum before he may start to slow down. Then again, not everyone slows down at the same pace and I'm guessing Gamboa isn't the type of fighter that's been in many wars or anything like that.

Plus they are moving him fast. Celestino Caballero is a huge step up. If he wins I'm sure he'll have Chris John next. Then after that the sky is the limit.

very good post but people right now doubt him because of his chin. what chin?? he got kd all of it were all flash kd nothing more. dood was never hurt period. he got right back up and destroyed em.

he will flatten caballero out come september.
