Because
The only reason Pacquiao hasnt fought any black fighters of late is because there are no more good black fighters, black fighters don't rule boxing like they used to. There are a few good ones out there but like i said truth is they do not dominate the sport, and havent since the turn of the millenium. But that was just a ****** comment by Jackson, he was a fine middlewieght in his hayday. When he was in his prime in the mid 90's black fighters still ruled the sport but times have changed.

david had the wbc and juan had the other 3.
you're in the business , put yourself in arum's shoes. you have a big name guy at 130 who's jumping up to 135 and your company has a guy with a belt there. would you not put him up against him first over another company's fighter?
you put your big name , money guy in a position to win a belt in another division and you get your other guy a big name , big money fight and you get money from both sides without having to share with another company.

And comparing someone who has been the lineal title holder and undisputed #1 in his division for nearly four years with David Diaz is silly.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-25-2009, 04:21 PM.
