The former champion ready to return to the ring.
Erik Morales has been in Managua recently promoting sporting events with the participation of various Mexican boxers. Having won three titles in multiple weight classes, "El Terrible" says he's ready to win a fourth title.
"I'm in the midst of a short break that's going to end very soon," Morales said this week.
"I'm already in talks with my management team for my return. I think I can still do a little bit more in the sport," affirmed Morales.
Morales (48-6, 34 KOs) has lost his last four bouts; his last one being via unanimous decision to then WBC lightweight titlist David Diaz in August of 2007. His previous notable win was a unanimous decision victory in one of his finest performances over Manny Pacquiao in March of 2005.
