Actually he did say it. Brian Kenny seemed shocked by Floyd's arrogance, and asked Floyd "Floyd, you really think you're better than ali and srr", and Floyd's response was "absolutely".

Maybe not word for word, but that's pretty much what he said.

Mr boat buyer made that comment prior to the Baldomir fight. I remember during that fight Lampley sayin he went on record makin that comment, and Steward wigged out like, 'I know he didn't dare say that!' He also made a reference to it when asked by Kenny on ESPN.

He said he's given boxing 30 years of his life and he trained his soul out to get him family out of poverty. He said he will never say a fighter is better than him due to the struggles he's gone through and due too how many years he's given the sport.
