styles make fights, Oscar didn't defeat him because he couldn't catch him and it will only have been worse if he were weighing a little more for Oscar because Manny would have been even much more faster. what won it for Manny is how he was able to slightly jerk his head to the side then cold **** him with a straight right. this is the way Oscar fights, he's always open for it. at 147 10 years ago is the only way I give Oscar a chance, the absolute latest is when he fought Vargas but anytime after Pacman would have had him for lunch. it's the styles that made the fights, Oscar didn't dare initiate because he had no response for that straight right every other second, it wasn't a matter of being too slow to block the shot he just simply didn't see the shots making the blows more devastating causing him to ball up in times he would normally swing, that's not weight drained that's called being thoroughly defeated worse than ever in your entire life... real talk
It was actually the straight left sir..he was landing the jab and then the straight left...he was evenleading with the straight left...he hit Oscar with so many lefts he was begging for a right hand....And truth be known I am not saying Oscar would have won the fight weight drained or not just saying he would have given himself a better chance if he was NOT weight drained. Manny's speed will give anyone problems....Lefty
Sometimes Emanuel and Brian from friday night fights on ESPN sound so ****** like now, did he not forget that everytime DLH stepped up in competetion he loss, unlike Mayweather , Pacquiao, and Whitaker to name a few they stepped up and won, so if he was drained whats his excuse for Mosley(twice), Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao and Trinidad, DLH would of never beat Pacman He has always had problems with with slick boxers, that was his kryptonite , i want one of these reporters to ask people like emanuel what would DLH have done differently , Its unfair for u people to pick DLH as a huge favorite and when he gets his ass whipped then u guys make excuses just like Larry Merchant did in the Pavlik vs Hopkins fight

Thank you friend for the correction, sometimes this bomb chronic be ****in me up ya dig, trust and believe I knew that but I definitely kept saying Right hand instead of left, ****** on me.. I'm just saying it would take Oscar of the 90's to beat Manny, a 2K Oscar wont cut it because physically he just wasn't there when he moved up, he should have stood Welterweight in my opinion, he should have applied more efforts into keeping his weight. he's a big man but at the same exact height he was once 130 pounds ya dig, it was very possible for him to stay at 147 from 130 if it was due to weight issues. I'm just saying man it wasn't dehydration or whatever, that is a cop out to take away from Manny's win, which isn't fair. Oscar prepared well for this fight man, he got up for this fight so for people to blame it on that when clearly Oscar couldn't cope with that STRAIGHT LEFT is astonishingly disrespectful to Manny Pacquiao, it's to completely disregard his incredible performance against a man MUCH bigger than him naturally.

DLH could have jabbed and tried to tie him up some. But really not much Manny was too fast and after he busted that eye Oscar didn't want anymore....Oscar in his D fought Mosley (Mosley is 1 of my favs by the way() pretty hard both times. The second win could have went either way....As for the Trinidad fight I scored the fight and I saw it more like a draw or a W for Oscar then a win for Tito but what do i know? Money may was landing cleaner shots but was running most of the fight and Oscar did lose a SD to the P4P champ at the time....Hopkins was atop the P4P list when they fought and in my mind oscar should have never fought above 154...In ODLH legacy he will go down as a fighter who never ducjked and always fought the best of the best Win lose or Draw you cant say the same even for some of the names you mentioned in your post....Lefty

Manny fought a great fight.....NO DOUBT MUCH RESPECT TO MANNY......Oscar looked like a pile of cow dung....Whether or not it was because Manny was that good or because oscar was that bad we will always ponder over. The fact that manny got in the ring with him give Manny credit alot of men his size and smaller wouldnt even do that but Manny got plenty of mouths to feed and he need bigger paydays and he aitn going to get them fighting at 126-130. He saw the opportuinty to make BIG BUCKS and took it. Then he put it on Oscar to boot. Now lets see what he can do against The Hit Man....Oh by the Way I like Manny I was always on the side of the fence that gave Manny a chance I even put some bts up that ODLH would not KNOCK HIM OUT!!!!!.....Lefty
95% of people thought ODLH would win against Pac, and look what happened.
85-90% of people think Pac will win against Hatton. You know what's coming next..
no, my stats say 66-33% manny over ricky...my source? vegas odds of 2-1. hehehe.....but as i mentioned before, ricky should be the favorite going into this fyt for all the reasons you and the rest gave out...simply put, ricky is naturally bigger and most comfortable and never been beaten at 140lbs....but then i believe manny will beat him coz of manny's overall ring generalship. peace...
no taker yet for my 50k on Manny
don't chicken out on me now, Hattonites.....
