You're all taking way too highly about this Williams win...

Williams fought a guy who hadn't fought in roughly two years. A guy who's 37, is as soft a puncher as an elite can be, and who had a huge disadvantage in height. I would expect Pavlik to do much of the same to WW, but maybe KO him instead. THIS Winky, not a prime Winky. Now, Williams has a solid name under his belt, but it's only a name. We all know that wasn't the real Winky. Winky didn't even have a tune up. It was about money.
As for fighting Pavlik... Pavlik is taller than PW. All those huge height and reach advantages Paul has had his whole career are gone. And he's fighting a guy with high out put and better than avg. power. I need to see him fight a guy over 6' with talent to be convinced he can take on Pavlik.
AA is way over rated IMO, the guy gets all this credit for going 12 rds with ****balls like Lajuan Simon while Pavlik fights guys like Hopkins and Taylor, and then gets **** for fighting his mandatories in between. The way people overrate AA is unreal He did knock out Miranda, but after 16 rds and a broken jaw, and even then Miranda was damaged goods because it took Kelly 7 rds. to destroy Miranda's career. Maybe AA can be beat by Williams now. He's shorter and has the shell defense. His power might be his saving grace.
Vs. Pavlik- KO loss, as of today.
vs. Abraham- Williams UD, as of today.

Williams coming for you Pavlik, and he shows more angles and throws more punches then you. Scared Pavlik? Pavlik, or take your ass-whupping like a man

You forgot to mention Pavlik is taller, has taken a real middleweight's punch and never been KO'd, and has the capacity to knock "PWill" the phuck out with his power. Williams can't knock out middleweights. Pavlik makes his living knocking out middleweights.

Williams is probably like 6'3, he looked as tall as arreola when standing next to him and Arreola is listed at 6'4. Maybe Paul was wearing boots? I don't think Paul would win by knockout, I favor him by a lop-sided decision. Pauls very slick.

I don't think Pavlik's scared of anyone from 168 down. He's certainly not scared of guys who haven't tasted a middleweight's power. Williams would have the same look every other guy has when he first gets hit by pavlik. The "Holy ****, this skinny white guy throws a lot harder than I thought he would" Look. Hopkins is the only one who didn't, because Pavlik couldn't land a single clean punch. But there's only one Hopkins, and he's not coming back down to 160 anytime soon.

Winky is ALWAYS all class. Great fight, great effort for Winky, but its time to hang them up, he needs to finish what him and Tito started, their company

Honestly lol man I think Williams would beat Wink any time.

How do you beat a guy that tall that trows that many punches? The only way is to knock him out and Wink doesn't have the power for that.

I thought going into the fight that Williams would be more of a target, and Winky wouldn't have much trouble finding him with the jab and str left.

I was wrong lol Williams is the real deal he showed his ability to escape a cagey southpaw and throw all those punches.

I just remembered Solimon giving Winky some trouble with his punch output from different angles. So this one seemed obvious to me. I do think Wink at 154 circa Vargas fight is a different story because that one was quicker and could have thrown more punches, but it's a style mismatch for him either way.

Pavlik and Abraham are just different stories because they can punch. And Pavlik can match Williams' length which is important. Remember Margarito won 5 rounds against this guy.

Lets be fair bro, Winky's timing was completely off, he didn't have the same snap on his jab he used to have and he didn't have any legs after the 5th or 6th. He was doing pretty good when moving in and out, then when he stopped, Williams would work.
