BTW, never read into PRESS RELEASES. That IS part of negotating. how many times did we read the pacquiao hatton fight was off, or pacquiao de la hoya, etc.? A bunch of times. The reason is because one camp isn't happy with an offer, so they go to the media saying they want more or the fights off or whatever, the other camp then responds. Boxing 101.

Hatton-Pacquiao is completely different. They were shifting on the split of the total money. Swinging from 60-40% to where they both felt they got what they deserved.

I would have took that deal if I were adamek, bhop is the biggest name he'll ever get to fight.

Adamek is smart. He loses to Hopkins probably, Bhop is not a ticket seller and Adamek already makes that kind of money with lesser fighters. Adamek vs Johnson is a great fight, and Adamek has a better chance and he gets a mil at least.

Adamek should take that? lol. He makes twice that knocking out a Banks. He would probably make three times that with the huge Cunningham rematch.

Wrong. That offer was a boxing tactic 101. If you dont want to be in the ring with them, offer so low on money that it becomes a joke. Exactly what Hopkins did. Not one person in the boxing circles has said anything otherwise.

Pavlik fought Taylor at 166 and he will probably be in super middleweight within the next 2-3 years. Maybe even next year.

They didnt want to show a total money split, because it would have been a joke. If Adamek would have took the offer, he probably would have got maybe 25%. With Hopkins taking 75%. lol
