Why has Clottey been inactive?

His last fight was in july with Judah am i right? It seems unwise to go this long without a tune up especially since his fight with Cotto is right around the corner..

I like Clottey alot and i think his skills are very underrated. His speed,tight defense and impressive combinations are phenomenal. However rewatching the Chico fight and especially his most recent Judah fight It left me wondering. Does he have the power to hurt or even bother Cotto? The movement and workrate aswell?

Cintron pulled out of their scheduled fight and moved up to 154 for one fight. Besides that it seems Arum has had him on the back burner. He himself has wanted to fight.

I like Clottey, however i don't think he has the workrate to win a decision out of Cotto. Plus he can forget about KO'ing Cotto because that won't happen.

I am a fan of both fighters,but this is going to be Clottey's coming out party,he seems to have a career that mirrors Winky,relatively unknown,but with enough talent to outshine known champions,I respect and admire Cotto for his bravery,but this is Clottey's fight!!

Arum wasn't exactly shopping him around though. Before the Cotto fight was announced Clottey was extremely disappointed with both his management and Arum.
