    Margarito robbed Cotto of millions

Maybe I'm a bit slow but it only just occurred to me how much this fight cost Cotto. Yeah most people question the actual loss but that isn't it.

Cotto was in line to fight De La Hoya, this would have actually been a career high for Cotto. I think he would have gone on to beat De La Hoya he would have then become a superstar.

Because of his loss, Pacquiao got the De La Hoya fight, the millions and the superstar status. This could have all been Cotto's and we would have probably seen a Cotto vs Mayweather match.

Now it's all Pacquiao, I don't begrudge him any of this though if I was Cotto all of this would be running through my mind, I'd actually want to a rematch not to win but to cause severe damage.

Wow, I forgot about that fight. You're absolutely right this match was going to be big for Cotto. But I think the fight can still be made at 154, De La Hoya has that kind of power that he can lose fights and come right back in another big fight. The Golden Boy, Lol.

Even though the fight can still be made, because of De Laya Hoya's destruction at the hand of Pacquiao it will be less ''defining''.

but remember that cotto's back in the show meanwhile margacheato is in tijuana hiding.

cotto will be bigger than he was before and he's not afraind of anybody.

Wow, I completely forgot about that. The Cotto-Margarito fight had crazy implications. Think about it. Great point.

*sigh* back to seeing tons of Cotto stans crying and bitching.

If he beat De La Hoya he would be the man everybody wants to fight is what I'm saying. A Floyd vs Cotto fight was so close as I feel if he beat Margarito and De La Hoya Mayweather would have come out and fought him.

Though I wouldn't be vex at a Mayweather and Pacquiao fight I'd have loved to see him square of against Cotto.

Yeah maybe you're right. A little easy tune-up to make DLH look like the goldenboy again would be good enough to hype the fight up. Maybe he should KO Mayorga again? or fight Corey Spinks you know just low-risk tune-ups. I am still interested in Cotto-DLH but only if it happens at 154. DLH at 147 is a nightmare.

Talk about an insult added to an injury.
