Oscar De La Hoya should come back to Jr Middleweight

I would like to see a showdown between De La Hoya vs Margarito in Aztec Stadium. Who ever thinks that fight won't sell and won't be a big event, is not thinking outside the box. Both went through career ending/threatning fights in their last bout and both would have a chance to redeem themselves in front of a loud mexican crowd. Margarito claims that he had struggled making weight for the Mosley fight, De La Hoya is weight-drained at 147. The fight can be held at 154. De La Hoya can make this fight happen if he wanted to and it's very winnable for him IMO. After the Calzaghe fight, most fans wrote Hopkins off and predicted that Pavlik will KO him, He beats the **** out of Pavlik and now he's on top again. A lot of fans are writing DLH off because of the embarressing loss to Pacman, a win over Margarito can get him on top again, like Hopkins, I'm sure. What do you guys think about this?

Last I heard Cotto was thinking of exploring promoting himself under his Miguel Cotto Promotions banner after the Top Rank contract is over.

DLH is washed up. Angulo's team want Margo sometime next year.

Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions recently stated about Margarito's illegal handwraps: "It was obviously not an accident, they added something to the gauze, and I think this is potentially a criminal act. There's no excuse for this whatsoever. This should be dealt with the strongest possible legal consequence."

It doesn't seem realistic that Oscar would want to be associated with Margarito or give Margarito any chance to make one dime off him. But I know you're probably just suggesting this as a boxing fan who wants to see this match-up.
