It kils me that many people on here keep saying that Cotto should rematch Margarito to prove that his loss was due to Margarito's illegal use of paris of plaster. The only person that would benefit from a rematch is Margarito because:

1. Gives him an opportunity at a big time fight (something he should never get again)

2. Life as a boxer again (shouldnt even get another chance to be in the ring as a boxer)

3. Huge payday

If Cotto rematches margarito even if margarito loses he still wins for all the reason mentioned above. I really think all the big names should black ball him (including Cotto) by refusing to fight him. Cotto doesnt owe Margarito **** nor those he have to prove Margarito cheated by rematching him...the court system already proved this. By Cotto refusing to fight him is more damaging than anything he could do in the ring.

it all depends.

if cotto wants to prove that he is a gracious champ, he'll let margo have another shot.

cotto/marg II would do huge numbers and cotto could force margo to almost fight for free and margo would have to take it.

also cotto can have the personal satisfaction of avenging himself and brutalizing margo.

and the puerto rican people will have the greatest fun bashing margo and mexicans afterward.

its a win win situation.
