that's an ignorant statement, clearly and officially Margarito tried to cheat against Mosley, but there's no proof he did against Cotto, styles make fights. Mosley would have beaten Margarito because he's the better and more skilled fighter but if there is ever a rematch with Cotto, Margarito would beat him again, Cotto can't fight moving back and that's what it would come down to. I'm not defending Margarito, he's a proven cheater but I'm not jumping to conclusions because Cotto is my favorite fighter either.

Problem is the Nevada commission never made an investigation into this..so we will never know if Cotto was hit with some blocks..It's like accusing someone of having *** with a ********** but you have no evidence.

The only person who knows is Margarito and if he did use them against Cotto then only time will tell..

Sorry I base my opinion on facts, the only way I can be convinced that Cotto lost because Margarito cheated is if Cotto fought and beat Margarito in a rematch, plain and simple. Sorry I don't like to make assumptions.

I mean DAMN! There's no way that people can say now that Antonio Margarito didn't know that his hands were being wrapped with Plaster.
The fact that he acted like he didn't know only makes this more
devasting to his rep & career. He should be banned for life, especially
since he was trying to fight in Mexico and Bob Arum should be looked
at side ways for his backing of a cheater by making such a big fuss
over this.

Who knows man, Arum could of known but not speculating. With
that said I think it is more a chance that he did use it against Cotto
but I have to point out that if Margarito indeed used "Plaster of Paris"
on Cotto and from the history of what this stuff can do, I don't think
Cotto would of been able to fight again, especially after Margarito
whipped on him like that. But again anything is possible but over all
I feel the same as before when I say Cotto just fought the wrong
fight with a bad strategy that gave Margarito the edge on his fighting
style. Wow man, Margarito is done from boxing and Cotto is leaving
Arum for sure now.
