I think everybody here understands that. This is just a thread about which professional trainer you would want in your corner if you were a fighter, if you could have any of them. We know it doesn't mean guaranteed victory, ****, we'd probably all lose.

But it's fun to talk about.

Kinda like which NBA star you'd like to play a little one-on-one with. Doesn't mean we'll win.

You have Evangelista on the list and not Naazim Richardson?

For real. I wouldn't hire Evangelista to train my dog.

No offense to him, but from what I've heard, even his nephew can't stand him.

            good poll but...

For the sake of this poll i voted for floyd sr but in my opinion the trainer that id most want in my corner during a fight is ****m Richardson, that guy has got to be the best ive ever seen at turning an oponents strongest atributes against them

No offense but I wouldnt count on that LOL I mean, not the guys in this thread but have you read some of the postings of random posters on message boards? There are those who honestly think all a certain trainer has to do is show up in a corner on fight night and its a guaranteed victory for his guy

I trust Iceman on this one.

I don't visit any other boxing forums, so I'll take your word for it.

Not that this one is that great either in terms of common sense and general knowledge. It wasn't too long ago that I saw someone say James Kirkland is already better than Mike Tyson because he's faced stiffer opposition......

                  So, point taken.

All I'm saying is that some of us are smart enough to realize that it really doesn't make much of a difference. I'd just like to hear Naazim's funny and insightful quotes inbetween rounds where I was getting my face smashed in.

                    Definitely not Evangelista.

I'd go with ****m probably. Something about that dude that I would find comforting in the midst of a war. He's like an old sage.

Floyd Sr. When he's not talking smack he's a very perceptive and articulate (in his own inimitable fashion) man.
