Pacquiao Aims for Four (and Six): Real History Part III

By Cliff Rold - In this series, designed to culminate the week of the May 2nd showdown between Manny Pacquiao (48-3-2, 36 KO) and World Junior Welterweight champion Ricky Hatton (45-1, 32 KO), Pacquiao’s previous title claims in five weight divisions were examined. Identified were three lineal titles at Flyweight, Featherweight, and Jr. Lightweight. Against Hatton, Pacquiao goes for overall title for lineal title number four. How historically significant would it be? [details]

The BIG chance he loses is one element making the moment so interesting. We, modern boxing watchers, don't get to see real, substantive historical moments often. They're too often watered down. This is, or is as close to as it can get, the real thing. Succeed or fail, knowing what we're watching can add to the enjoyment and appreciation.

                  Crold i have a question....
Its hypothetical bythe way so...........IF Pac is fortunate enough to win a fifth lineal titl(welterweight) via mosley and Cotto(split decision) without defeating PBF in the process, and BHOP beats adamek in an impressive fashion, in your opinion who is higher in the ATG list? What numbers would they be in your own personal list.thanks

if pacquiao achieves victory it will only going to make it closer to the top 5 or top 10 ATG list.
