obviously this isn't the first time a Silva-Jones Boxing fight has been talked about

but I wonder what started up all this Anderson Silva wanting to Box RJJ

besides competitive spirit it's pretty crazy for someone with a 1-1 pro boxing record to even consider facing Roy Jones.

So Anderson plans on fighting Roy after his contract expires? Roy will have Parkinson's and Alzheimer's by then. Nice timing, Andy.

Actually there is debate whether or not he is 1-1 or 1-0 (either way still crazy). Boxrec has him listed as 1-1, however most articles say his pro boxing debut was in 2005 and that he's 1-0 as a pro, and on boxrec he's 1-1 with his pro debut being in 1998, then fighting again in 2005. More than likely boxrec has an error adding two boxers with the same name (looks likely there is a boxer Anderson da Silva and the MMA fighter Anderson Silva).

RJJ is Anderson's hero, so he wanted to box him
