marquez vs. hatton, who wins?

Good fight, But at 140 Hatton is a bull and only lost to the best fighter since SRL which was at 147. No way does lose to JMM, once again if Chris John can do it Hatton for sure can.

You don't know s**t about boxing. Did you even watch the Diaz V Marquez fight?? If that had been Hatton instead of Diaz, JMM would have been KO'd in the 5th round. His only chance would be to box from the outside and be elusive the entire fight - but thats not JMM's style and he will not have the youth or speed to do so. He will have to stand and exchange with Hatton, countering him, but to do this against Hatton's power will be suicide. Unless JMM can withstand the punches, he's gonna lose. I'm a big fan of both boxers and know that JMM is the much more technical fighter, but it won't matter much in this fight..

exactly diaz has really no major power...
diaz throws a lot of shots thats all....but hes stamina is really bad....i agree hattons style has him out quicker than what marquez did

marquez is a great fighter,a better boxer than hatton and a great counter-puncher.but the guy got knocked down 3 times by pacquiao at 130 lbs.i could see the same sort of thing happening against hatton,but he wouldnt get up more than once

In a technical fight Marquez wins with some to spare. But Ricky's size and power advantage cannot be ignored.

You can't keep coming up the weights forever and not expect to hit a wall at some point.

Marquez looked very small against Diaz.

And unless he carries a significant punch up in weight he'd probably lose. That said, Marquez would hit Hatton very cleanly and very often. But Hatton would bully him and Marquez would not be a significant threat in the later rounds as he usually is. Hatton would be making his body work to hard.

Marquez midrounds KO or Hatton early or late round stoppage. I think someone gets done, in this one.

just because the fighting would be at 140, this would be a competitive fight, but marquez without question the better fighter.
still i would vote for marquez...he is just to good, and hatton will be eating counters all night imo.
