Oscar De La Hoya is still in question about his future(plus Mayweather's not interested as of right now)
If Hatton wins against Manny, a rematch is the biggest fight that can be made and will destroy records in the UK, no doubt. Ricky didn't get the fair shake in Vegas and the fight was pretty competitive until around the 6th round on. I don't see why there shouldn't be a rematch if Hatton wins.

That is odd...but Golden Boy has ZERO stake in Cotto. At least they get SOMETHING from the Pac fights. So consider this a Golden Boy press release aimed at trying to coax Mayweather into fighting someone to make them richer.

I want to see Cotto-Mayweather as much as the next guy, but if Pac beats Hatton I want to see Pac-Mayweather first. Mosley-Mayweather is fine, as well. Mayweather-Hatton II? Bleh. It would be a huge disappointment if he took that fight instead of a potential Cotto blockbuster (assuming Cotto gets past Clottey of course)...but that's reality. There's no question he would, for money and safety reasons.

If Mayweather fights these guys this is what will happen:

#1 Hatton - We already saw what happened and it would be the same all over again.

#2 Cotto - While I do think that Cotto's natural size and strength could be a problem, Mayweather's speed would dominate Cotto. Mayweather UD

#3 Mosley - Very similar fight to Cotto, probably more of a boxing match but I still think Mosley at 36 can't hang with Mayweather's speed and movement for 12 rounds. UD Mayweather.

#4 JMM - This would have been one of the greatest fights maybe a few years back but the real question is, how much longer does JMM have in the tank at 35? He would be at a dissadvantage in size, speed and maybe even power. Mayweather UD or possible TKO.

#5 Pacman - Now this is the only real mega fight. Both fighters are still in their prime and both are closer to their natural weight for the match up. I still would give the slight edge to Mayweather as far as speed and boxing ability but Pacman's relentlessness and power would be something Mayweather might have never seen. LET'S SEE THIS FIGHT!!

Of all the names mentioned the least deserving would be Hatton and DLH, but it doesn't matter anyways because Hatton is not getting past Pac. More than likely Floyd will end up fighting Marquez in July. If he's serious about his return and it's just not about money, by then the only two credible opponents left would be Cotto and Pac.

Mayweather is talented that he would move and score enough with bigger fighters but you have to see how would he do under pressure during a whole fight. I do agree with you the the best pound per pound boxers are below him but you must admit the mayweather has a size and also an undeniable skill advantage. Mayweather is so good that i would like to see him against a fighter that he has a lot of potential to loose and see him do a masterful performance in pulling out a win.

I would like to see the best fighter in my genaration against the odds and comming out at top. In any case this is boxing and we can just speculate. You never know the outcome of any fight.
floyd is not a natural welter...on fight night he weighs no more than 150, while the natural welters are around 160. When i see them in the ring, i don't see a size advantage at all. But i will agree with u in that he is more skilled than them. But he is way more skilled than those guys at 147.

So we basically we at square one...no matter who he fights, he wil have an advantage so why not fight the best fighters regardless of size!
