Sensible suggestions for Khan’s next opponent..

    Plenty out there.

    1 Re-match with Prescott
    2 Nate Campbell
    3 David Diaz
    4 Paul Malignaggichops
    5 Zab Judah

Who else you thinking? Personally, i think he’s got to be a ‘draw’. MAB was exactly that, a huge draw, and we all watched it. Bums on seats is what it’s all about. IF Khan is going to make it in boxing then he has to step it up now because the eyes of the boxing world are on him.

No more easy fights, deep end match-up's from now on. Personally i dont think he can make it as an elite fighter, but if he wants recognised respect then he's got to have a pop at it (not that this'll satisfy many of you lot)!

Personally, Prescott, then maybe David Diaz this year, assuming he wins both, a title shot against whoever might be holding a version at 135 in Jan 2010

Those suggestions are nothing short of idiotic for his next fight, I think there is a minimal possibility they would consider david diaz, but I doubt it, he should not be in there with anyone on that list. There is no rush with him, he should be looking at a possible european title shot or maybe meager or thaxton, he should be looking at fighting john murray or a top 10 lw towards the end of the year, and then maybe a world title shot, or possibly fight for a vacant title end of the year, maybe beginning of 2010

You seem to forget that ricky hatton didn't fight for a major world title until he was 26, and calzaghe was 25, why rush khan...let him learn his trade and progress under roach

Katsidis, seems sensible if you fancy a 60 second laugh.

yeah, but lest forget, MAB was a world champion by the age of 22 so calling those names idiotic is well....idiotic.

It might be a move up to the slightly less-dangerous 140 division. Malignaggi is an easier fight, softer puncher and other guys might be slower, with less power.

After Malignaggi, he needs to hope that the extra weight makes him physically stronger.

This fight has the potential to be an embarassment to both fighters. Kat's chin ain't too great either. However he's gone fairly deep in some grueling bouts. I'd still have to say that David Diaz is Khan's best next step.

Just keep him away from JMM.

The Mass "jumping out of windows" of JMM fans

would leave a black eye on boxing.

Saying boxing fans are too sensitive.

And what?...Kostya tszyu won a world title in his 12th fight, Mike tyson youngest hw champ ever, does that make them better than someone that won it later in their career. Barrera went pro at age 15-16 and was scarily good by the age of 22! Would you like me to go on?

All fighters progress at a different speed. Khan's problem is that he has a major flaw...his chin, so he has to perfect other parts of his game, not to mention how strong the lw division is at the moment.

Im sorry dude your way off base
