Voted No. I thought it was close I would have to watch it again. ThI remember being frustrated at Mosley for not throwing uppercuts which Cotto has always been open for. I thought if he threw some he could have changed the tide of the fight. I thought the ref stopping the fight in round 10 after Mosley hurt Cotto to clean up water was BULL**** at the time. You wait till there is a lull in action to call time. Watch it again, that gave Cotto time to recover. Sometimes you have to watch a fight with your eyes more than your ears. Because HBO commentators will always highlight punches by the guy they are supporting which in this case would have been Cotto. His opponent could hit him with a three punch combo with Cotto throwing a punch and they will mention the punch that Cotto threw even if it was clearly blocked or missed LOL.

*In Your Opinion* Was Cotto-Mosley a "hometown" decision?

there's nothing wrong with saying cotto won a close fight but in a place other than NYC the result might have been different... the possibility is still open that the result might be the same. the only way to find out is for cotto to rematch mosley away from NYC.

I'm basing this off the fight itself, not who had the home court. I could see if the fight was an all out nail biter and you don't know who won. But once that bell rang after the 12th, people know who REALLY won the fight. Even Mosley himself gave the grin and nod for the loss.

Cotto win for sure in my book! Great fight competitive All the way every round but in the end Cotto won a few more rounds for a tough but clear UD IMO
When Cotto started BOXING off the backfoot NOT RUNNING but BOXING he was still landing the cleaner harder shots, Cotto can actually Beat u Up off of the backfoot
