i just watched the last 3 rounds again to see where cotto was running . it looked more like he was outboxing ssm . shane was doing a lot more smothering and clinching instead of punching when he did get close . and cotto was landing the same overhand right in those rounds as he was doing the whole night . it was a close technical fight but cotto clearly had the better defense that night.edge: cotto

It was Cotto's fight although his poor stamina made it very close in the end for Mosley but Cotto hanged on! Had Mosley been a lot more aggressive earlier in the fight he could have stole a couple rounds and won the fight. This rematch does need to happen!

IMO, it was close but Cotto clearly won the fight.

I think Cotto won the fight BUT since cotto won that fight then De La Hoya should have won his fight against Trinidad only Cotto was worse he won less rounds then de la hoya but also ran for more rounds then de la hoya..if im not mistaken Mosley was the aggressor for the last 4 rounds and cotto was on his bike that was way worse than DLH-Trinidad and Cotto Still got the decision..Both fights were crazy but i think Cotto edged out Mosley regardless just like DLH should have gotten that win over trinidad..Mosley-Cotto could have been a draw and no one could have complained about it..but good for mosley for not complaining after the fight and taking it like a man although he felt it was closer than what the judges scored it..a rematch would be great

I Dont agree with you there because cotto outlanded mosley in the 9, mosley landed 7 punches more than cotto in the 10, 4 more in the 11 and equal amount in the 12.

It was certainly close, but Cotto did more to secure the outcome. It would have been clearer if he had trained with his endurance.

Cotto won that **** 116-112. Cotto won, rounds 1,2,,5,6,7,8,9,11, Mosley won rounds 3,4,10,and 12 and the 4th and 10 th were close rounds. Cotto was out boxing the **** out of Mosley. Mosley landed some hard rights from time to time, but he was getting out box by Cotto. Going backwards or forward, Mosley was getting outthrown and outlanded by Cotto. Mosley was smothering himself and tieing too much on the inside. Mosley didnt look bad, but he didnt won that fight, much less it wasnt a draw. Look good losing, doesnt mean you won!

Please the guys that are saying that it was a draw or that Mosley won, What rounds you gave to Mosley? i want to know. i hate when people just say, well it was close I tought such or such won, but they dont have a actuall score of the fight. They just talk out of nuthuggery or hatred.
