I saw the fight and there is no need for a rematch, Bute got up from the knock down legitimately. You can say the call was controversial, but there has been many controversial calls in boxing. Besides Bute was way ahead in the scorecards. Bute needs to fight Kessler.

when a fight would have ended if not for a referee, no matter who was winning and by how much, a rematch is greatly appreciated.

just look at it this way. you say you saw the fight right? yea bute got up, but would that bute that got up, even with the 25 second count, survived if the fight were still on for even a few more seconds? and thats not including the fact that the fight should have been called off because bute was in no shape to continue...even with the 25 second count. can you imagine what would have happened in a proper 10 second count?

Let's have Andrade next if he wins his eliminator which isn't a sure thing, or a unification fight with Mikkel Kessler.

I read on another site that Bute called out Andrade, Pavlik and Taylor. I got a strange feeling that he doesn't want to fight Kessler.

I'd like the Andrade rematch to happen just so it proves Bute is a force to be reckoned with. From that, a successful win over Andrade will open the door for some unifications, with Balzay probably being the easiest option. Something tells me he doesn't want any part of Kessler just yet.

It's funny how everyone thinks bute is so great.andrade was his only legitimate opponent he's faced & he LOST in most boxing experts eyes.he's been protected.wow he beat a blown up jr middleweight,& ancient joppy.andrade was robbed by that pathetic referee marlon.bite has alot to prove.beat andrade fair & square to silent the naysayers.he should fight him in Mexico.im Canadian so I'm not being bias,I think bute has a weak chin & when he steps up to the big boys he's going to get rocked.he has skills but never leaves home(the pays good)I won't respect him until he grants andrade a rematch.andrade already took on kessler & bute wants no part of a rematch.he talks tough but why the eliminator? I think that you guys forget that Andrade look like he had a rubber face against Bute.He outboxe him all night except for the 12 round.In a rematch i can't see Bute making the same mistake and how Andrade can win.Bute is an artist and much too fast.
