Judging from some of the responses I've seen, not many read the article.. Typical. Just come in and call a fighter you don't like a ***** instead of reading.

Wladimir should forget about the US (and end his contract with HBO, which often delays his fights) and fight three times a year in Europe.
He should go up against Alexander Dimitrenko next - young 29-0 fighter, and highly ranked by all four sanctioning bodies.
The Americans will never like him, because the media people like Atlas, Raskin and Kellerman are so negative about him.

These threads are so predictable and silly. No one here knows why the latest negotiations broke down, after Shaefer and Finkel took over the negotiating. Wlad haters claim that Wlad is scared of Haye, which is a laughable, ridiculous claim; Haye haters claim he's been making all sorts of demands, but they never back their statements up with any evidence, apart from some very vague claims made by Boente from several weeks ago which Booth disputed in detail at that time.
The first negotiations - before Shaefer got involved - clearly broke down because of a communication breakdown between Booth and Boente. The fact that Booth then pulled out of the negotiations and asked Shaefer to make the fight - and said he was willing for it to be in Germany, and hoped it would be in Berlin - shows that he was out of his depth but that he did want it to be made. We don't know what happened subsequently. Shaefer thought a deal had been agreed a week ago, but he turned out to be wrong, and no one apart from the parties involved knows what they broke down over this time.
And the claims that Wlad is avoiding Arreola are even sillier, considering the article says that it was Arreola's promoter who said no to that fight.
