Very good article. It's obvious that Ricky Hatton is very intelligent and down to earth. It would be awesome if more fighters took a page out of that book.

CHEERS RICKY! GOOD LUCK ON 5/2/09!

          54 and 1 with 32 KO's?

          Glaring error.

          EDIT:

**** it, I'm not even reading it any longer. I got to "I challenged for the number 1 pound for pound title before" and gave up. I can't stand Hatton anymore.

The guy is either playing the boxing community for suckers or is completely dumb himself.

Not in my book. The guy has become a complete and utter clown.

                the egoists

senior is really unbearale whenever he opens his urine-soaked mouth (yes urine, not listerine). have u heard him talk with his junior. both are arrogants who outdo one another. no one wonder why junior and senior are at odds, a big gap separated by gargantuan EGO.....

                  weight, smeight

hmm. Ricky keeps saying that the weight was a big factor with Floyd, that he's a 140 lb-der & the move up was a bit much but then turns around and says that he always comes into the ring on fight night at 154. Last I checked, Floyd comes in at 150 on fight night so Ricky can stop talking that weight **** & just admit that Floyd and 'Carazo' (Collazo) are just better than him!

ermm.. im sure if you actually read the article properly, you would see that on many occasions, Hatton blamed his boxing technique for his defeat. He said he was just rushing in without thinking, which played right in to floyds hands - which is exactly what happened.

The good thing is that, he realises this and has been working on it with Floyd Snr. which has already shown to be working with his last fight against Malignaggi, and so with this extra training camp he will be able to improve his technical abilities even further.
