Exactly, Floyd has his own opinion on what he is worth

Wrong or Right, it don't ****in matter

If he feels 8 mill is a lowball offer for a fighter of his stature ( Which it is, Floyd is a very polarising figure in the boxing community ) He should reject it and sit on his millions, spending time with his kids, enjoying retirement etc

Floyd vs Pac would be great for me personally ( Hopefully Manny is favourite so i can make a killing from this fight ) but if it don't come off it ain't the end of boxing

Mayweather is a sucka everyone that likes mayweather stop huggin his nuts he is not that good.. He is about money not about being the best it's a shame we'll be talking about this bum with alltime greats .. He probably be more mention for his talks of money then his actual fights .. Unlike the best from the past when it was all about being the best .. Having pride..respect..and honor .. Let's not forget they actually fought and went through wars then making boring fights that he makes.. Only reason I watched this idiot is to see him get knocked out.. I might not get to see it but if I get to see him get ko I'll celebrate as if it were a new years..

But is he worth $20 Million? I don't think so...

He needs someone else in the ring to help bring that type of money and as of right now there isn't.

I just find it crazy that he's asking for $20 Mill and basing it off his 2 wins against Hatton and Oscar. But hey...what can you do...

Take into consideration his lifestyle and the real estate market in both Florida and Las Vegas where Floyd is heavily invested he might actually need the 20 million to make it worth it for him. I would say he may be willing to negotiate and he throws 20 million out there to aim high and hopefully he gets 12-14 million with a possibility to make 18-20 million. Truly him being retired and non active for over a year now he would probably need a tune up fight. So if either GPB or Top Rank could throw a lamb to the wolves and get him 8 millin for a tune up fght and then give him 12 million for the fight against either SSM or PAC that might be interesting for Floyd. Floyd has to take into consideration the PPV #;s are NOT what they were when he fought ODLH. That was a record and I don't think SSM or PAC will bring in the PPV #'s like the Golden COW did. He ahs to consider 12 million to fight either of those guys is better then just continuing to spend money and watch his investments dwindle away....Lefty

If Mayweather really wants to make $20 million then he should take his arse back to WWE !

Although both are true (and it would be a lot more money), I think the main thing is just the former vs. current P4P angle, and the pride thing associated with that. He wanted the Mosley fight years ago, Mosley didn't want it then, so I can see why he wouldn't be that excited about it now. It should have happened back then.

If Pacquiao does well against Hatton, and if Mayweather comes down to 140lb to fight him, then it would be a pretty credible match-up. If he asked Pac to fight at Welter though, that wouldn't be.

Getting paid is fine, being unreasonable isn't.

His fans can beef all day but Floyd Jr is established already and does what he wants. His fans (Like Myself) are content with what he has done and respect his wishes and decisions. Would love to see him fight some more but if he doesn't I'm not going to lose sleep over it. The man has made 20Mil+ for one fight before so what's so crazy with him getting it again? If they want him go get him by any means! They have already been calling him out & riding his nuts since he retired. Floyd is a business man and a self made multi millionaire and in any business if people are coming to you to gain or profit off of you then you just hit em in the pockets, that's business.

It is not about confidence to me, Floyd said point blank he does not want boxing to retire him. It is his choice as a man to make that demand (not like he is seeking bull**** fights, he is sitting at home spending time with his kids), if it is not worth his time that is his choice.

To make someone do something that they really do not want to do, you probably have to make them an offer they can not refuse, so iif your not going to come correct do not bother the man. If Floyd started calling people looking for a fight, he would probably have different demands because he would most likely need the money (he probably does not need the money at this point).
