..when Margarito could've been the easier fight and was the bigger fight $$$ wise? I'm not saying he would've won outright, but he sure as hell wouldn't have been embarrassed like he was. Funny how things work out. This clearly illustrates how there's no benefit in being a wuss ever. If he would've lost to Rockhands, there would've been no shame in that - he was the 2nd best at 147. However, losing to Manny P, there was GREAT shame in that.

That was the top fight to be made at Welter at the time. The Pac-Hoya fight was hindered with the mismatch label, there's no way that didn't effect the buyrate. I think he passed up the biggest fight he could've made with the next best thing, and of course it backfired.

Look at this 10 years from now. DLH losing to the top 10 P4p of all time in Pacquiao will not be bad at all. But DLH losing/winning to a Cheater Margarito is nothing to Brag about. Just for being in the same ring with one of the Greatest that ever Lived will be an Honor!
