    Too Heavy = Extra Coverage

At least it makes an easy sales pitch for Nate Campbell to go after Joan Guzman at 140 lbs. Not making weight gets as much publicity as a fight these days.

Very close fight and a hard one to score. Nate come out nice and tight, and strong pushing the fight to Funeka, and easily winning the first 2 rounds especailly the second scoring a loving shot right over the top to floor Funeka.

But after this, during the middle part of the fight, Funeka would start to use his range and keep Nate at bay with a accurate jab and combinations, while Nate would just keep tight and sake his head, and would look to land power punches and work the inside and while some were landing i was still edging toward Funeka

While in the middle part of the fight, it wasn't all one way do as even do Funeka was winning rounds, Nate was still landing clean punches especailly to the body, which some of the judges probaly of liked.

And then down the streatch the rounds contiuned to be hard to score, and then in 11th Nate come right over the top like he did in the 2d and floored Funika again, and maybe if there may have been more time in the round, Campbell may have got the stoppage victory. But Funkia held on well.

Then the last round, were both loked tired, i just thought Nate put a little bit of good pressure to grab the round.

So really hard one to score, as Nate controlled pretty early on, While Funeka took over the middle rounds, then Nate come strong at the end knocking down Funaki and really hurting him as he did in 2d. Leaving fresh memory in judges head.

It was one of them fights if i watched 10 times there would be all different scores, but tonight i may have just edged with Funeka. But Who Knows

this is one of those fights that round by round funeka won, 7-5 imo, but at the end even though on the cards i had it a draw, i felt that campbell deserved the win. campbell had the best shots and made more damage overall on the fight.

btw i think this fight is not a robbery...the martinez fight, THAT is a robbery. this one was the home advantage that decided it, if not it would have been a draw.

First truthful post I've seen, Funeka was not landing enough, most everything was landing on Nate's arms or gloves.

Right, they were landing on Nate's arms and gloves. I take it that Nate forgot how to use his arms and throw back. Campbell was lazy for 8 rounds of the fight but I guess boxing is going for more of the MMA look nowadays; one-hitter quitters right?

He wasn't the underdog for whoever posted that he was. Ali Funeka only has Raheem on his bleak resume that everyone was questioning before the fight, it was his first fight out of the states against the top lightweight in the world and..... Funeka clearly has no fashion sense hahahah! Funeka was suppose to get KO'd and sent back to the bushes. Ali knew Campbell like the back of his hand in his own words and it showed because he beat him to the punch and boxed circles around Nate. Two lucky overhand rights to the TEMPLE, not chin, can distort anyone. Aside two knockdowns, Nate lost every round.
You honestly believe he lost every single round apart from those with the KD's?

Mate, no offense, but you cannot score a fight. If there are people like you judging I can see how the farce that was Cintron/Martinez was scored a draw.

Nate won a minimum of three rounds apart from those with KD's, then whatever you prefer could have seen him win at least another two or so without much argument from any reasonable, non biased watcher.

Edit: Now, I know that you're going to come back with something like "You can't see boxing for what it is...etc etc, blah blah" but if you think that Nate didn't win a single round apart from those two with KD's then you're as blind as you're making the people that scored it for Nate seem.
