i have only seen clips from el perro.. he definitly have a buzz and have some pop in his punches.... but with the evidence i have seen of both.... i really expect much from victor.. by far!!!!

i've been watching this kid.. since it was fighting in boxeo miller..hes a complete package speaks both english and spanish.. have a story behind him... and to me way more markeable than el perro
The only reason, I'd expect more from Victor is because he is in a weak divsion, and El Perro, is in a better one, with more talent, at 140, guys like Ricky Hatton would struggle against him.

Victor Ortiz isn't Mexican, hes is Mexican-American and he won't be embraced by Mexico for the same reason Oscar De La Hoya never was, Mexico wants to see a guy who came out their country and fought all the way to the top, while Ortiz is getting hype early in his career.

I love Angulo's style, but he is too slow and lacks defense, he needs to learn how to be slicker as well. It is too soon to tell whether or not he will be mexican's next star or not.

but if thats the case.... hes mexican... why mexico wouldnt root for him???

Im not Mexican, but I love the way they fight!I've been watching Angulo on showtime for a while,"I think he should have stayed there",but definately!!Great power, good boxing skills, great jaw, above 135,he is the guy to take Mexico back to the championship!!His only flaw is the youngster loves to ****,hit him once and he throws his skills out the window,it makes for exciting fights, hopefully he matures and knows when it is good to ****-box!!!

then mexico is gonna have to wait a lil bit more...

el perro wont be as big as much of the posters think he will.... at least thats my humble oppinion..

victor ortiz >>> by far el perro in his chances to make it to the stardoom

too soon to tell, plus 154 is a wasteland... nobody for him to really fight except pwill... at 160 I dunno if he can beat pavlik or sturm.
