Hatton's Co-Trainer Says Pacquiao Will Be in For a Shock

Pacs team seem confident and so do Hattons.
I cant pick but i think Hatton has a great chance to do very well. I cant pick anyone with any degree of certainty.
I hope Pac looks at this fight as his toughest to date. PBF fans say he demolished hatton, but even PBF said Hatton was his toughest fight. So that telly you something. And Hatton has improved.
I think Hatton is favourite, but only slightly because he is the man at 140 and you cant bet against that.

im confident that ricky hatton going to knock pac man out with a body shot, almost every knock out loss pac has had has come via a body shot, and nobody dose that better than the hitman, ppl uderestimate his speed and his power also he has great foot work and pac man wont have to go looking for haton because he is going to be in his face all the way pounding pac mans face and body worse than he ever has before, Pac aint got the best defense and looks shaky when under attack, he is bad on the back foot and is far from unbeatable, i like him and he is entertaining but he aint the best in the world and he wont be pound 4 pound king after ricky has give him a lesson in pain

1st---KO3 via straight right to the face (dropped cross-eyed... literally) against a fellow Filipino Rustico Torrecampo.

2nd---KO3 via livershot (I don't want to make excuses for Pac so you do the research) against Medgoen Singsurat of Thailand for the WBC flyweight title.

3rd---L UD 12 against Erik Morales.

There's only 1 KO lost via body shot in Pacman's career.

For those of you on here that have been reading my posts in regards to the Ricky Hatton, Manny Pacquiao fight have noticed that I've been pointing out the same thing as his trainer Beard. Hatton is stronger than Pacquiao and he is also fast on his feet & can close the gap on speedy fighters & can cut off the ring. I also said that Freddie thinks the fight with Diaz & Oscar is why he based his decision but Pacquiao had problems with a REAL TOUGH boxer in Juan Manuel Marquez. I feel the Manny band wagon is full & no more can ride but people are still boarding & making room. Hatton's been fighting WAY BIGGER guys & punchers than Manny, what makes people think he will be so devastating on a young primed fighter like Ricky Hatton? Manny Pacquiao has ONLY fought 2 in higher weight classes & David Diaz & Oscar De La Hoya is not convincing for me to think Manny will KO Hatton at 140.

Funny I think something along those lines whenever people say Hatton is going to be stopped on cuts.

The difference being that hatton has 10 stoppages by Bodyshots and Pac has 1 by cuts, so if one is more likely it's a bodyshot KO, hatton at least has a reputation for winning that way.

Pep, Rowland, Pendleton, Huchinson, Stewart and even Castillio may not be in Pac's league skill wise but they are all seasoned campainers at higher weights than him and they got put away by bodyshots.

definitely this would be a war... If hatton can be a sharpshooter counter-puncher like JMM he will win for sure, but he isn't... He is a brawler and a hugger... If ever hatton catches pacquiao and wrestle him, then pac's speed will be negated...

Why do people keep saying Hatton hugs a lot? His last fight with Malignaggi he didn't hug or hold at all. The only person who was hugging & holding was Malignaggi because he was hurt by Ricky's power shots. RICKY HATTON HAS A NEW TRAINER WHO IS A GOOD DEFENSIVE ONE. & no matter what people say I've seen big improvements in him in his last fight & so did Floyd Mayweather Jr because he said so. Sometimes on these threads it reminds me of the movie "The Shining" with Jack Nicholas when the wife went to read his novel & all the pages kept saying the same thing over and over. Pacquiao has a chance to win but so does Ricky Hatton. If anything Ricky will be the favorite for me come fight time.

I just think its dumb when i hear people say all hatton can do is hug and wrestle! Sure he likes to have a tear up,but to think that he could have got to where he is in the sport with such a rudimentary approach is just plain ****** and no-one with an iota of boxing knowledge would suggest that he could have..well,maybe some people on here.both are great enteraining fighters,but the lack of respect for hatton is laughable.And to all you people spouting that lame ****,I have a question.
