So does this mean Margarito only is suspended in Cali?

generally commisions will respect each other's suspensions, some commisions won't even allow a fighter to fight anywhere in the world if they suspend him, this same california commision recently suspended an MMA fighter for a year and told him he would face more consequences when he decided to fight in japan

**** it he's done. Who the hell will ever fight him now? And nobody will respect him anymore.

Marg should fight BJ Penn in a UFC fight.

Seems like a Valero suspension though the cause of su****ion is different. Was it New York that revoked his license? Having that suspension in one state snowballed to all other states banning him to fight. Have Cotto pulverize this cheater's so called granite chin in PR. An all out war.

That's correct, it's like a medical suspension, the ABC (Association of Boxing Commissions) respect the decisions of all of the boxing commissions.

No if he's banned, the other athletic commissions with respect the descision and follow through with it.

He could probably fight in mexico or japan though.

technically he's only banned in Cali BUT most other states honor bans like this

so he's pretty much ****ed unless NY wants to make an exception and allow the rematch in MSG. there is a ton of money to be made (especially puerto rican papis going to hope to see their man KO margie)
