That call ITV made him make to Calzaghe was indeed very funny. He was sounding off all through the interview but was like a rabbit stuck in the headlights when he actually had to speak to Calzaghe. Poor lad.

Rid**** Bowe once said titles are won & lost in the ring, in order to be a champion you have to beat a champion. Froch fought in an elminator for the title, he didn't beat a champion, he fought Pascal. Why would Calzaghe make 168lbs again to fight a bum for the title THAT HE VACATED. Froch is a paper champion. I hope he fights Kessler and we'll see who gets their boots smoked.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Kessler is an absolute nightmare stylistically for Froch. That jab and right hand will have him for breakfast and out of there within 6 rounds ... 3 if he didn't have an excellent chin. I could conceivably see Froch taking any of the others at 168 - including Taylor - but Kessler? Zero chance.

Bute is flawed, Froch is slow with a less than world level defence.

The 168 division is interesting barring Kessler: who beats everyone else, even on his worst night.

Kessler needs to get a move on though.
