    Fighters normally checks the wrappings religiuosly. A lot of top fighters even do the wraps themselves. I'm as certain as can be that if Margarito's wraps were illegal he knew.

    After all the hands is a fighters tools.

      I pretty much accepetd that in my post but it does not excuse it imo for the reasons given. Did you actually really read and think through what I said, before saying that?

      I said I think it's naive to believe that a person whom has boxed for numerous years, have numerous times wrapped there own hands, and have experienced the look and feel of their hands wrapped hundreds upon thousands of times to;

      have no idea what's being stuck on own their body and skin 2 feet in front of them before their eyes. To then feel your hands, punch and not notice something is in the slightest bit different with the look and feel of your hand compared with those other hundreds of times you've either done it yourself or had it done.

      I think I'd know if there was plaster on my hands, firstly when feeling them compared with merely scores of other times wearing wraps. Secondly in the fight the feel of the punches would be noticeably different. Thirdly after the fight whereby it'd be harder then before, and needed to be removed abnormally quite toughly, likely cut off slow and hard - what cloth only wraps would behave like that?

        i hope that cheating POS margafraudo doesn't get off on a technicality.

        the fact that richardson took it to his locker room really tarnishes the speculation in margo's favor.

          LOL @ True....what a fucking sore loser you are. Dude seriously, get over it. Damn I could just imagine how you are with your ex chicks..that's if you even had any before. I wouldn't be upset if Cotto were to use "unknown blocks" against Jennings...in fact I would actually crack up that he had to do it against that poor C Level Fighter.

            Gotta admit though, Margo's chin and stamina have withstood some long hard hitting bouts.

              you never know, every boxer is different. some may find the handwrapping tedious, since they've seen it thousands of times and stop paying attention.

                i'm pretty sure every wrap is different from a past one and every trainer wraps differently enoough for a boxer to tell the difference, but if a boxer feels that his handwraps feel different or more powerful, they will assume its because of the new trainer or the current trainers new way of wrapping... they will not immediately assume that its illegal because they assume that their trainers are looking out for their best interests by not cheating.

                  Could be. Of course it's only speculation on my behalf but I think it's only the fewest of the few pro-fighters who wouldn't know if the wraps suddenly got harder than they had ever been.

                    So your saying that illegal wraps had no part in wearing Cotto down. I agree that Mosley fought a better fight but Cotto wanted to make it more interesting. You know that if it wasn't for the wraps Cotto would have knocked Margo out.

                      Dude I'm not sure you actually digest what you actually quote and respond to.

                      I listed numerous factors there, and your "new trainers, different feel, assume it's ok" as an excuse, is profoundly un-substantial.

                      What, is he having new trainers every week is he, hand wraps vary so much sometimes their bloody and grey, hard stuff falls of them, and they feel "rock hard" as Richardson and others put it.
