That's exactly what I thought when I read that article. Cotto's face looked bad all of a sudden towards the last 2 rounds. If this come to be true I hope they ban this ****** and his whole ****ing team from boxing. Deliberately endangering the life of another boxer in the ring is uncalled for.

It proves how much of a garbage fighter he is when him & his camp have to result to cheating.

Every trainer has the God given right to watch their opponent wrap their hands.

If I recall Genesis correctly it was on the the 6th day that God issued this right to man.

If this **** is true Margarito will never be able to redeem himself. A cheater is a cheater and that **** is sick. I'm one of his biggest fans but you can't back him after an incident where he was cheating in such a low manner. If he is cleared, he was just beaten and his career takes a hit, but if he's found to have cheated it's over, deservedly so.

You guys talking a lot of **** to Tony's fans should tone it down to. How could a fan of the guy have known something like this. I knew Tony had his limitations and wasn't invincible but it's this allegations of cheating that are insane to me.

I agree with you. It doesn't look good for Tony now. I also agree that if all this is true, he had to have known. This is going to be a tough one to swallow, if the results of the investigation turn out that he did in fact use " plaster of paris " or some kind of means of cheating.

Yeah all the aligations that are coming from the guy that's been juicing his whole career he did look ten year's younger in than his fight with mayorga. Just cause balco closed shop doesnt mean he did. I figure just wait until the judgement comes. But There are alot of sore people on here crying about cotto. Marg got beat by mosly fast hand's and clinching hence he had more energy toward's the end and the entire fight

The person I feel pretty bad for right now is Cotto, IF Margs hands were plastered can you imagine the pain Cotto must of felt??? Geez, not just Cotto, Kermit is also in the picture he did lose to Marg also, even though if Johnson was a bum, he looked like he was in pain when Marg threw that right that sent him crumbling, I hope pple really pay mind to this situation and stop being ignorant

This is nuts...I didnt even think of his past opponents ...but one has to take that into consideration....Margarito has put himself back to the bottom of the ladder with this controversy .
One thing I did notice in the Cotto fight ...I believe in round 2 or 3 Marg. hit Cotto with a shot that I felt stunned Cotto.....and I was thinking ...damn Margarito isnt even known for being a great puncher.

His credibility is shot and anyone that backs him.

For the benefit of everyone involved especially the fans, the commission owes a thorough investigation checking past video...of past wrapping, the effects of Margaritos punches previously, etc...
This is the reason so many fans have turned away from boxing in disgust over the years...All in all its good to restore some trust and integrity in boxing with a solid investigation. Why don't the commissions just have objective non-interested people wrap both fighters in a standard fashion?

That would help.

And for the future safety of all other fighters, they should definitely implement "Pre-fight Handwrap Video Taping" of all fighters by someone appointed by the commission.

A full body shot video taping of the fighter getting his hands wrapped by his trainer would prevent avoidable tragic events and will keep everyone involved honest.

Heck, video taping is utilized by law enforcement when they make arrests, and by the repo men for safety and evidence.

Why not by the commission?

It's a relief to know Cotto didn't suffer a serious concussion that could've seriously jeopardized his whole career.

margacheato definitely cheeated against cotto. because he is so slow and did'nt hit cotto with alot of shots but when he did hit him it affected cotto right away about the 6th round. so this jack as should be fined and suspended.

i see that point also, what if marg never new.......... but on the other hand, if you guys noticed how marg fought on this fight..........he looked not motivated at all, like if GOD, I got caught......hummm, just a thought....
