Mosley loaded up on his punches and held to nullify Marg on the inside and stayed off the ropes. Cotto did not seem to load up on his shots he concentrated on movement. For me that was the difference. Margarito was also overconfident tonight he thought he could walk thourgh Mosleys punches and he was wrong, overconfident from the Cotto win.

And mosley was able to clinch marg in situations where cotto would trade with marg and then try and move out of there.

Am I the only one who read this ****ty topic creators topic? He basically just gave Margarito almost every excuse in the world why he lost tonight... Shameful topic. Here is one excuse you can give marg, he wasn't allowed to cheat tonight

The big difference was the clinching, every time Margarito started to get some sort of rhythm, Mosley would clinch him, get some separation and start unloading his bombs, especially the right hand over the top. And every time he felt his back to the ropes, he got out of there, he didn't use any unnecessary movement either. He also used his reach advantage to full effect, every time they were at range, Mosley would use that reach to keep Margarito off balance and out of rhythm. Very smart gameplan.
