This is really disappointing. I still think they will end up fighting though. It's his best option and like others have said, he won't make more money fighting anyone else. Barrera was in his prime for the first fight, coming off wins over Morales and Hamed, and he went onto regain his titles and beat good opposition. To date it's still the greatest ever win for Pacquiao who dominated from start to finish.

Then again Pacquiao became a pro as a 16 year old and is the same age as Morales was right now.

It was obvious however that Morales was not the same while Pacquiao is still going strong. No one can take away that first win over Barrera from Pacquiao though.

Barrera had already had 60 fights before his first fight with Manny, and was close to his 30th birthday. He had been through a lot of wars.
