Before it gets any further, please calm down everybody, I am a fight fan too, not only a Pacfan, but a true blooded fight fan. I want to see real evenly matched fight and Pacman vs Hatton IMO is an evenly matched fight. If it doesnt happen, I won't lose a single cent, and so are you... All I am saying is don't blame one party only because there two parties involved here. Let's wait and see...give it a couple of days more, maybe it will still push through. If not, I'll say f u ck both of them, lets just watch some real fights and keep all these kind of post in the fantasy fight.

prolly Manny just wants to have some time for himself and for now he just priced himself out...he had a hard time training non stop for his last 2-3 fights, like he never went out of training camp. His wife just had a baby. I dont know, but maybe he wants some time to be with his family and chill.

Then he would have said that if that was the case. No fan would really have a problem with it. Doesn't make sense to cover it up with outrageous demands for money.

What a greedy ****er Manny has become. It has to be about greed, because he already won the pride battle by getting Team Hatton to compromise. If Manny can't see that 50-50 was a fair deal to begin with and that he was getting away with business murder getting 2% more then he is actually a moron.

I'm a Brit but I don't like Hatton and I would have been routing for Manny had the fight been made, but I've lost a lot of respect for Manny here. If they ever were to fight in future or if this deal is somehow rescued then I'll be begrudgingly supporting Hatton, because at least he has acted with class throughout this entire farce.

GEEZ...some of you guys are becoming just a bit unhinged! This is probably all hype, but even if the fight doesn't come off - not a big deal. I like Ricky, but this has sloppy written all over it. When both guys constantly jump in with lead hooks, one can easily forsee a headbut in the second round that potentially sets the scene for another ugly affair involving the hitman. If word is true that Manny's backup is Edwin Valero, forget Ricky...I'd much rather see what the Venezuelan really has!

There is no principle here. It this were about principles or pride, then Manny already had a victory by getting Hatton to compromise. This is about money. This is greed.

I have never lost as much respect for a fighter I like in such a short period of time as I have her with Pacman. What the **** is he playing at? He agrees a 50-50 split garenteed to make him £12 million a career best (He made £11 million by facing De La Hoya) which he then goes back on. Then he wins the pride battle by making Hatton back down from 50% to 48% having already forced the fight to be earlier than Hatton wanted and in the USA not England (A guarenteed 80,000 tickets for that at Wembley) and has therefore had it his own way. I'm not suggesting he's scared but I am suggesting he is ******. The people around him must be thinking of themselves. Why wouldn't you return calls to Freddy Roach? The man who has lead him to ALL his best victories. Amazing. He is going to fight Valero for £3 million instead... Does anybody see the logic here?
