Barrera Stops Khan inside of Three Rounds, Says Hennessy

UK Promoter Mick Hennessy says if Marco Antonio Barrera is anything like he was in his prime, he should knock out Amir Khan within three rounds. Hennessy had been in talks with Khan's promoter Frank Warren for a potential meeting with British champion John Murray. Warrend dropped a bombshell when he announced the meeting between Khan and Barrera, scheduled for March 14 at the MEN Arena in Manchester. [details]

Yep. It's hard to see Khan getting past Barrera. Barrera only needs to land one punch and it could be all over. It seems like such a silly move.

      John Murray is balls.

He talks about his next opponent having a padded record, but his is as padded as you can get. Khan has a lot better resume than Murray, and thats saying something.

10 years ago maybe. This should be a pretty clear win for Khan. Probably 9 rounds to 3.

If MAB wins I think it'll be by stoppage, cuz I don't see him beatin the younger guy over 12. I'm thinkin Khan outworks him for a UD tho.

I think khan is too big and lanky, also far too fast.
Marco wont be able to keep up these days he is shot.. Khan will beat a legend. he has no right to tho in my eyes.

I think even an over-the-hill Barerra is still a dangerous match for Khan, especially with his more than suspect chin. If Khan doesn't stick to out-boxing and tries to head-hunt in an effort to take Barerra out inside, he's going to get caught.
