So the total ppv purse is around $60,000,000

Now explain how a fighter, can realistically demand a 60-40 split when most of the money is coming from Hattons end. Yes, people from the UK will be more interested in seeing Hattons fight because he is fighting Manny, but if Hatton is not there, no casual fan would pay to watch Pac fight in the UK. And I bet 700,000+ people in the U.S wouldn't pay to watch Manny fight anybody except Oscar, Mayweather, or Hatton.

This fight should be a 50-50. Anything else is an injustice to either fighter.

That's an impressive summary even if approximate. Also doesn't even take into account the proportion of good sales per person in the respected country. The UK is like 1/5 of the size of the US, so to not only level but earn more from that smaller country is impressive, and shows just how many people and pounds proportionately he brings.

Your exactly right! They can't do this in the Phillipines. Pac might bring 60% of the viewers in the U.S. but he's gotta realize Boxing is much bigger in the UK than the states. Hatton will bring in 90% of UK viewers.

It's true.

Hatton brings the most money, but Pac is the NO1P4P, and a rising star. Pac should accept 50-50 and get this fight made. Asking for more than half is outrageous. Also, if he fights Mayweather, he will lose a lot of money. They will only have the US ppv to split between both fighters.
