That's because you aren't thick like the other nobheads who were slobbering over RJJ's **** and were desperate to see Zag get beat.

Have you even seen the Glen Johnson fight?

Johnson dominated, KOd him, and didn't get put on his arse either. And that was in 2004.

RJJ beat Tito because Tito is even more shot than him.

Like I said, how shot RJJ is can be seen in the fight. No-one thought DLH would lose to Pac, but he did. We SAW how DLH was in that fight.

Yes thanks, I'm a fan. Noticed I said because Roy faced the #1 LHW's. Well to put it clearer and clarify, like someone else said, he was facing A fighters.

No he isn't, he's well past prime too but not shot.

Now your saying ODL suddenly became shot for his performance, even though most also agreed he wasn't shot before hand, he was facing p4p #1, was over trained and weight drained.

That's an awful comparison and shows just how much you like to over use the infamous 'shot' tag.

Tito is very shot bro. That guy right there is the definition of shot and worthless.

How do you define "well past his prime" vs. shot anyway?

                  Yeah, rofl indeed.

Ah see this is what I think is so ambiguous about 'shot'. It's like ducked. Everyones got a different idea of what constitutes it. So perhaps peoples judgements on the matters aren't quite as different as it seems.

It's a complex topic to be honest, and there's few more complex than Roy's history and situation especially having gone to HW.

Now, 50% shot or past prime is pretty damn significant imo, I mean take a fighter and half what he was, christ at the top level of a division that's huge. Yet he's still been relatively competitive. A lot of Roy's problems are around him going back down from HW to LHW, and this kind of thing isn't usually what people associate with shot, especially a long term drastic effect Roy naturally experienced. A fair few still give ODL good chances in fights for eg.

I also think people exaggerate the extent of Roy being shot not only due to the weight issue fucking up his body not being factored in, but also because people were so used to seeing him going un beaten, un touched and dominating guys, not the other way round suddenly. To see that figure get knocked out once, everyone didn't write him off. Twice a fair amount started to yes, and by this point his body and mentality had seen the sharpest dive in Roy's career imaginable. Hence why I think people just don't recognise that Roy, or the Roy beating Tito, because he looks so different, also by not being able to rely on his un orthodox speed so much.

I don't know how else to put it than this, Roy is significantly past prime say 50%ish, so half the fighter he was due to a combination of things, never being in trouble before, always dominating, seeming un touchable, then gaining loads of weight then losing loads of it quickly. He still beat Tarver once post this though don't forget. This all took it's toll, he lost some speed, his feet, his body coordination was much worse, he aged more, more mentally week, awkward style of Tarver and just looking a shell of the hero of the RJJ were all used to seeing. So the reaction is, it's not him, he's gone. But he's not. He's still ranked top 10 in the LHW division ahead of Woods whom he'd probably still beat, now that's saying something. He can't beat A level fighters like Hopkins, Calzaghe or Johnson any more, but he could some B level fighters, some of which are still top 10. That's it really, I hope he does that aswell, he deserves to go out on a goodish win.
