Margarito Vs Pac doesnt sound right.. if pac thinks he can beat Marg he is obviously over his head it would be power vs speed, pressure vs agility power + pressure = cotto results

I don't think he should be considered the best welterweight unless he beats Williams. Margarito's the lineal champion, so he's no.1 in that strict sense, but I don't think you can say he's the best welterweight. I think Williams would be narrow favourite to win if they met again, and I think the reason Margarito won't give Williams a rematch is that he doesn't feel confident he can beat him.

very dangerous fight for pac, but winnable by decision. tony is a slow plodder and he wins against boxers who stand and trade. cotto was winning early but stopped and trade in the later rounds.

Probably would if the fight stipulates a same-day weigh in.

potshot and move for 12 rounds, but will marg eventually catch up and pin him on the inside??

dangerous fight for manny, but winnable
I agree w/ you. Marg barely caught up w/ cotto.

But manny would have to be fast and throw body shots.

But i dont think manny can take margs punches.

i would loose some respect for marg for fighting such a small guy, but ill still pull for marg.

Margarito don't want it with Rodney Jones either. Even if he beats Williams, he'd still have to fight Jones to be the Ring Champion who only recognizes the very best. You can't talk about Williams without talking about Jones.

True dat. However this would be his real Henry Armstrong moment. Everything people worried about in the Delahoya fight would go the same for this fight....only more. Too big, too strong, good chin. Only I doubt that Margarito shows up washed up like Oscar.

                Still it would be INTRIGUING.
