And dont look now but manny pacquiao is quickly taking this era away from mayweather

MAYWEATHER DID WHAT HE HAD TO DO
This question doesnt make no sense.

Because their is always more to do as a fighter until you lose to a point where people force you out of boxing.

Their is always going to be somebody for mayweather to fight as long as he stays undefeated... because people are going to want to see if he can every lose..so the cycle will continue with people saying mayweather has to fight this fighter now because he is better than the last fighter mayweather fought. and so on. Until he finally loses.

And then People will say, "See I told you Mayweather wasnt a great fighter, he just didnt fight no real competition, ignoring the fact that he beat all the previous fighters they said mayweather couldnt beat."

So I dont blame Mayweather for going out on top. Because it will never be enough until he loses. Because as long as he is undefeated their is always going to be somebody for him to fight, and the fans are going To demand that fight just to see if they can beat the great Mayweather.

So i hope i answered your question.

Mayweather has already done what he had to do to become a legend.
He is going to the HOF.
and he is the Greatest of his generation.

Their is nothing else to realistically accomplish.
    Besides
getting the lineal 140 pound belt
getting the lineal 154 pound belt.
or maybe getting a middleweight title.

But even that is adding a cherry on top of the cake

How does mayweather develop the " Dont take your eyes off the opponent" style?

He grapped, elbowed, when up in weight avoiding mandatory challenges, and finally retire avoiding berto, mosley, P.williams. currently awaiting a none dangerous challenger before deciging to comeback. If he can get the small pacquiao, he will likely return.

Mayweather reach the point where every fighter wants to be when they turn PRO.

              1. Greatest of His Generation
              2. Pound for Pound King of the boxing for 3 Years Straight
              3. Champion for 10 years out of 11 year career
              4. Undefeated
              5. Made History by becoming the first person to ever moved up 5 weight classes and win the offical titles while remaining UNDEFEATED. nobody has ever done that

I am telling you Mayweather did what he had to do in order to be consider a LEGEND in his own time. what else can he do.

Thats all he can do. Because this is all that he can control.
He accomplishments in boxing will be recognize by the Hall of Fame.

              ONCE AGAIN: PLEASE READ SLOWLY
When you go into the hall of Fame that means you are one of the best fighters in the HISTORY of boxing.
The Hall Of Fame is the best you can do as a fighter.
Their is nothing after the Hall of Fame.
              Nothing

When you go into the HOF , it is not just the greatest fighters of all time. It is the greatest fighters who were the greatest in their time.

Mayweather was the greatest of his time.

                so, again read slowly

Do you really think mayweather did the best he could do or he could he have fought a couple more years and became one of the best

This my answer to this question:

Their is always more to do as a fighter until you lose to a point where people force you out of boxing. So yeah Mayweather could have done more, but this is not the point.

Their is always going to be somebody for mayweather to fight as long as he stays undefeated... because people are going to want to see if he can ever lose..so the cycle will continue with people saying mayweather has to fight this fighter now because he is better than the last fighter mayweather fought. and so on. IMO, Mayweather Left the Game just Like Barry Sanders Left the game.
And although people dont like to do this
You have to give respect where respect is due.
Floyd has done something that hardly nobody has ever done.
Walk away from the sport on top, and people cant stand it.
He is like barry sanders in that reguard.
He left when they was no doubt who the best was and is.

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO LEAVE THEM WANTING MORE, RATHER then HAVE THEM LEAVE YOU, AND YOU WANTING MORE.

                  Example: Roy Jones

There ya go a straight answer thats what i was looking for

I just think mayweather left as soon as he got in the spotlight so no one could appreciate his whole career. If he stayed a year or two and beat manny and someone like shane or marg then it would of been a good time to go out.

The real problem is the past superstars leading up to our era were mostly people taking on all of the big names so when someone disrupts that order it will cause controversy.

                      boxing is a unforgiving sport.
and boxers always fall into the trap of leaving when it is 2 late.
                      Roy Jones
                      Jose Castillo
                      Sugar Ray Leonard
                      Ali

Great Fighters fight 2 become the best.
And Once they become the best, the goal should be 2 leave that way.

Floyd was considered the best fighter in the world for 3 years Straight. and He was probably the greatest superfeather weight of all time. A division in which 27 of his 39 Fights took place.

There is no way to get around this fact.
Nobody in this Era is better than pbf
