this is definatly a posibility, i think hatton will be the strongest person pac has ever fought, if hatton can get to the body, circle away from mannys left and turn him into shots it could be a great night for him, but if he trys to box with manny it will be a long night for him. that being said, as much as i like pac, im a bettin man and will side with ricky on this one

points 2 and 3 are pretty much the same gay boy. hatton at 140lbs is a completely different matter to a DLH weight drained as **** at 147lbs. Hatton at 140lbs is a wreking machine, tzazu, castillo and maliggnaggi, maussa and olivera sure thought so

Floyd fought Hatton at WW, suggeting that is his most comfortable weight now.
And the fat man is only good at 140.

That makes no sense. Hatton weighs more at 140 than Mayweather does at 147.

Good discussion on this thread. Overall, it seems like people think that Pac Man might be the bigger man going in to the fight on May 2nd. Hopefully he will be able to walk into the ring around 147-48, and I'm not sure how big Ricky comes in on fight night...

No matter how much Ricky trains with Mayweather Sr., he will more than likely get hit with Pac Man left hand leands because Manny is extremely fast and will show Ricky angles.

However, like someone said on this thread before, I don't see Manny clinching and fighting on the inside with Hatton, so can Manny keep Hatton off of him with his feet and movement all night? That is really not done against Hatton even against Mayweather, and this fight is going to be at 140 not at 147.

So...

Advantages for Pac Man
1. Pac Man has the speed and possibly power over Hatton, as he may come in fight night at 147-148.

2. Pac man will hit Hatton with lead lead left hands all night, despite Mayweather Sr. training.

3. Pac man could possibly cut Hatton because his is accustomed to cutting his opponents and Hatton is accustomed to being cut.

Advantages for the Hitman Hatton

1. Though Hatton will likely get his with Manny's lead lefts, hopefully this will be minimized by Mayweather Sr. training, and he may not get as hurt as he did against Mayweather Jr.

2. Though Pac Man may come in bigger than Hatton, they will not be fighting at WW and Pac Man's size advantages may be negligible.

3. Manny has shown vulnerability to big punches versus JMM, and DLH did not really hit him with anything that would hurt Manny, Hatton may be able to hurt manny as he will be the biggest fighter that Manny will face that actually has a chance to hit him.

4. Most importantly in my opinion, Hatton is great at walking people down, and Manny may not be able to evade Hatton with footspeed alone. Hatton will likely walk Manny down, cut off the ring and clintch on the inside, and Manny may be uncomfortable with this and may be overpowered, beat up, and stopped.

So both fighters are in for a fight and both have advantages and disadvantages, easily the fight is the Fight of the year. With the exception of course is if Manny wins and fights Mayweather at the end of the year!!
