Cotto lost a lot of his fans when he quit

Hey guys, all of the reporting when cotto went back to puerto rico and got off the plane and arrived said that there were hardly no one there to greet the ex-champ at the airport...not alot of people at all, but if he had won then it would have been a parade...besides cotto quitting in that fight made a lot of his fans very angry, and a matter of fact, it showed his fans that when the going get tough, the tough gets going...cotto fan base did go south and the only way to get those fans back is to win the rematch in convincing style...i don,t know how he,s going to do that without running in the rematch...if he loses the rematch against margarito, i see him in the same class as cintron finding it hard to get big fights...any thoughts are welcome...

Them fans are ******ed Cotto didn't quit. He gave it all he had. He could of just fell down like alot of fighters do and act like he was out. Also he's already achieved far more then cintron has so their not even in the same league. If zab still get's big fights so will Cotto. But Cotto will win this time

After seeing all the people that voted for Cotto in the favorite fighter thread, Id have to say you suck at making threads.

the funny thing is that cotto "quit" but what happened when trinidad fought hopkins??? didn't trinidad sr threw the towel in the 12th. so what would be the difference?? a true fan would always be a fan. and i think a lost would be a good thing. it will help cotto to work harder.

My whole comment was that he needs to win the fight in the rematch, but without him running even more than he did in the 1st fight...i don,t think the judges will appreciate cotto running and not fighting...theres no way cotto can hurt margarito backing up...if he wants to put the pain on this guy then he better go forward and swing away...

Are you serious? You really believe that Cotto quit? Man, he was exhausted, had been knocked down and had given it everything he had. There was no quitting there at all.
