My predicition is 12 boring rounds, williams throws 100 slap punches a round and wright will sit on the ropes with his hands up and counter about every 40 seconds.. Williams will win a boring decision against the 50 year old Winky, who never has won a big match. Winky will then claim he got robbed, pout like a little girl then hopefully retires and Williams will go on claiming he is the best while still living in the past about beating Margarito... has anyone noticed that all of Williams fights suck and are boring as hell.. He even made the Margarito fight boring, and its very hard to make a Margarito fight suck, by holding and running the last few rounds of that fight

no schmuck, margarito made the fight boring as hell. just standing there and letting williams put hands on him for the first 7 rounds until he pressed the action.

      I don't like this fight, I really don't.

PW has a fight against Darius, what's happened there?

He doesn't seem to help himself sometimes, at numerous weights and such, his career path is all messed up.

He still mandatory for Dzinziruk and fight is still possible for 2009. But I suspect that he will stay @160 if he keeps winning. So Wright then Pavlik or Abraham, Dzinziruk after, and its possible for him to hold belts @54/60.

I hope this fight never happens! ****** HBO doesn't want a fight between Taylor and Froch who have last fought pretty good. But they're willing to put money on Williams and bore you to death Wright! Horrible!

I thought the Margarito fight was a good fight and it was also highly competative. But every fightWilliams has had bored me to tears. The Quintana II KO was sort of exciting but the first Quintana fight was a boring slap fest in which Quintana schooled williams for 12 rounds.

First off Paul Williams comes to fight each time looking to throw as many punches as he can get off.

I havent seen a boring fight yet from Williams.

Second to compare Pavlik and Williams is funny. Williams definitely has more skill , better footwork , speed and is an all around better fighter than Pavlik.

I say Williams by unanimous decision.

Just because he throws a hundred million punchesdoesn't actually mean that he steps into any of them. And if his fights are so exciting explain why nobody goes to any of his fights? Half the crowd left during the verno phillips fight and 90% of them were Arreola fans.

Terrible fight for Williams to take.

I think Winky should be able to pull this one off, assuming his inactivity hasn't hurt him.

I don't care what Wright has done in the past. To not fight for 20-or-so months and then get in the ring with Paul Williams is like siging your own toe tag.
