      Great though is a subjective matter and is based on ones perspective. I might have exaggerated a bit but it was meant to stress my point. Mayweather didn't want to fight him the first time so I wouldn't see why not fighting him would deter him of being "great". I would understand if he ducked Mayweather but it's a different story since he was being avoided. It's just I can't believe how fans and critics abandon a fighter after a loss. Especially when Cotto was so explosive in his matches and he lost to a really good fighter. The thread was meant to point out just how ridiculous fans can be and how quickly they forget a top welterweight after one match...
